Vintage US Art Pottery

Vintage ceramic vase is signed McCoy USA on the base. It has a glossy lime green glaze and I would date it from the 1940s. It can be found in various McCoy collector books including one by Hanson Nissen and Hanson on page 151. (see photoi) Their mfg. date is 1948, and it was made in green, pink and yellow glazes. Vase design includes two short handles on top and a decorative leaf mold on the rim. McCoy vase measures 8.5 inches tall by 4 inches wide at the mouth. Condition is very good with a 3 inch wavy vertical line on one side that was made during the manufacturing process. You can see it in the photos. Glaze may be a little uneven here and there, and there may be a few pin holes as was common in McCoy pieces. No chips, major crazing or cracks. There is minor soiling inside from holding flowers. Shipping is by weight (3pounds 6 ounces) and the buyers zip code.
