The ruffled rim of this Fenton pink milk glass vase forms the perfect border for bouquets or wedding centerpieces. A lovely way to display spring flowers, this milk glass vase is decorated with bumpy little hobnails that give the piece its distinctive texture. This pink milk glass was produced by Fenton for just a few years in the mid 1950s. Called ‘rose pastel’ it is a warm, peachy pink. Measures about 4 1/4 inches high, 5 inches diameter across mouth. Unmarked. Overall condition is very good, with no chips or cracks; minor variations in the molding and color of the glass. This listing is for a rare milk glass hobnail vase with regular and translucent milk glass. The hobnails are translucent milk glass from the bottom to about the middle of the vase. The rest of the vase including the double crimped ruffled top edge is regular milk glass. After much research I believe this is an early Fenton piece but it does not have any markings. Condition: In very nice condition with no chips or cracks. It does have an extremely tiny flaw in the glass that was too small to photograph and can hardly be seen. The bottom has a few tiny black marks that do not show when it is sitting upright and there is a small scratch and some mold lines on the inside. Measure Approximately: 5 3/8 inches tall at the tallest part of the ruffle top 6 inches wide at the widest part of the ruffle top All shipping overcharges will be refunded.
