Murano XL Purple Amethyst Footed Hurricane Lamp A very large piece of hand blown glass, maker and age is unknown. A very similar piece (in the form of a bowl), has been seen which was Murano. The upper part has four large stripes embedded in the glass, which are a whiter shade. The rim is fire polished and rounded; this upper has then been attached to the hollow base part. The overall colour is a rich grape purple/amethyst, see pictures and please ignore reflections. Burn away from flammable materials, do not burn candle below the base level. Protect surfaces beneath holder, make sure candle is securely fixed in upright position. Trim wick to 1cm before lighting.
